Frequently asked questions
Is this a treatment for sleep apnea?
No, and we won't pretend otherwise. The Night Patch is a comfort and sleep-quality product, not a medical device, and it is not a substitute for CPAP or any treatment your doctor has prescribed. If you have been diagnosed with sleep apnea, keep using what your doctor gave you. If you snore heavily, gasp or stop breathing in your sleep, or feel exhausted no matter how long you were in bed, please get assessed — those are worth taking seriously.
How does it actually work?
It sits flat against the front of your throat on clean, dry skin, held by a soft medical-grade adhesive. You switch it on before you sleep and take it off in the morning. There is nothing in your mouth, nothing in your nose, and nothing running to a machine beside the bed.
Will I feel it while I'm asleep?
Most people notice it for the first few minutes and stop noticing it after that. It weighs under an ounce and has no moving parts, so there is no hum, no vibration you can hear, and nothing to tug if you roll over.
Does it still work if I sleep on my side?
Yes. It is flat and low-profile specifically so it doesn't press into a pillow. Side, back or somewhere in between is fine.
Will it irritate my skin?
The adhesive is hypoallergenic and latex-free. If you have reactive skin, patch test on your forearm for a night first. If it does irritate you, that's exactly what the 100-night guarantee is for.
Can I use it if I have a beard?
It needs contact with skin, so it works best on a shaved or closely trimmed area of the throat. With a full beard, adhesion is unreliable and we'd rather tell you that now than refund you later.
What if it doesn't work for me?
Email us within 100 nights and we refund you in full. You keep the patch — we don't ask you to post anything back.
How fast does it ship?
Orders placed before 2pm ET ship the same business day. Delivery is typically 3–5 business days, and shipping is free on every order. We currently ship to US addresses only.
